I joined New York Life as an Agent in 1999 after a 20-year career of working in education as a high school coach and teacher. I know Texas’ Teacher Retirement System inside and out, so if you’re part of that system, my team and I will work with you to determine how far your pension or retirement plan will take you, where you should be investing, and what we need to do to protect your assets.
I have been a resident of the Spring area for 21 years, and therefore have a vested interest in seeing my friends and neighbors succeed. As a loving husband, father of two, and now a grandfather I have many of the same hopes and aspirations as my clients and am happy to share with you all the resources and information New York Life has to offer.

As your financial coach, we’ll take the process as slowly as you want, and I’ll be available to answer your questions whenever you need me. I don’t believe in pushing people into things they don’t need, and I’ll always give my honest recommendations on what’s best for you even if it doesn’t benefit me.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University and am a graduate of New York Life's award-winning training program, NYLIC University. I am a lifetime MDRT* member and have been a top producer since joining New York Life in 1999.

Community Involvement
As a lifelong resident in the Houston area, Jim is committed to supporting his community any way he can. Whether it’s giving back to charities near and dear to his heart or serving the youth, he’s here to invest in the community as much as they have invested in him.
Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA)
Jim is a long time member of the THSCA, whose mission is “helping coaches to help kids.” He sponsors two hospitality rooms at their annual conference and also received the Distinguished Service Award in 2011.
Klein United Methodist Church
Since 1998, Jim has been a proud member of the Klein United Methodist Church - “where strangers become friends, and friends become family.”
